Senior Identity Management Architect

Beacon is currently searching for a Senior Identity Management Architect to join our growing team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Acting as a technical implementation lead on broad, complex and critical engagements to implement packaged enterprise software into existing client's application environment, successfully accomplishing system integration of various enterprise software solutions, including validation of integration design, installation and configuration of enterprise software products, coding of Java integration connectors into the client's application environment, as well as conducting system tests at the customer location.


DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deploy (configure, integrate and customize) enterprise software solutions in the customer's application environment
    • Work as part of a technical consulting team on customer-facing projects; travel 35-65%
    • Develop technical requirements and designs for enterprise level software
    • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
    • Design, implement and test custom interfaces / integrations between custom enterprise software and customer's legacy systems
    • Work closely with customers
    • Coordinate diverse, distributed technical teams that, at times, may include members of the customer's staff


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Systems is required
    • Experience facilitating software product integrations at various customer sites with a minimum of 5 years of enterprise software product deployment experience preferably with identity management systems or role management, audit, or ERP systems
    • At least 5 years of Java application development in a J2EE environment
    • Experience with application servers
    • Experience with middleware and/or web service
    • Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Sun Identity Manager (or other identity management enterprise software)
    • Java

Beacon is currently searching for a Senior Java Consultant to join the team. Java Consultant

Beacon is searching for Software Consultants to join our growing team. The focus is on technical, cradle-to-grave delivery on broad, complex engagements to implement packaged enterprise software into customers' network infrastructures. Candidates should be strongly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to work directly with Fortune 100 customers. We are looking for consultants who are eager to grow into project leads and architects.


DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, configure, and deploy enterprise software solutions to meet customer requirements while minimizing project risk and complexity.
    • Work as a member of a technical consulting team comprised of work colleagues, Beacon partners, and customer staff.
    • Develop Java-based connectors to 3rd party APIs and web services.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Systems, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline
    • 2-4 years of professional consulting experience in client facing roles
    • Demonstrated technical expertise in software integration; possible areas of expertise include: OOP, Java/JSP, HTML/Javascript/CSS, XML.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Identity Management products, including Sun Identity Manager or competing products
    • Experience with middleware and/or web service strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with both Windows and various flavors of Unix a plus
    • Familiarity with SQL
    • LDAP
    • SPML
    • Network user administration
    • Testing suites


REQUIREMENTS:

    • Willingness to travel typically 35-65%.
    • Eligibility to work in the United States; not required to move to Austin, TX.
